Having a new baby is such an exciting time. There are things to plan and prepare, and that includes the announcement that you’re expecting!
I realized that I have shared several designs for expecting moms and even for babies. But, other than my gender reveal ideas for the family, I haven’t really shared anything for siblings.
Well, y’all, that’s something I’m changing today! 🙂
Today, I am going to share with you how to make big brother little brother shirts with your Cricut machine. This project is super easy and the shirts are adorable.
They’re the perfect way to celebrate that special bond between brothers for Brothers Day which is May 24th.

How To Make Big Brother Little Brother Shirts With Your Cricut
The process for making these adorable shirts is short and sweet. Just follow this handful of steps. Make sure to check out how to make onesies with your Cricut for even more helpful information!
Step 1
Open the cut file and size to fit your shirts.
Step 2
Cut design from the iron-on material using your Cricut machine.
Tip: Be sure to mirror the image before cutting and also cut with the shiny side of your material down on the mat.
Step 3
Weed away all excess from around your design as well as the centers of any letters.
Note: Weeding tools do make this a bit easier but they are optional.
Step 4
Then, use an iron or the Cricut EasyPress to adhere your iron-on to the shirts.
Your big brother little brother shirts are complete and ready for a pair of superheroes!

Make these cute shirts for any pair of brothers that you know. This also makes a great gift for a baby shower so the big brother gets a little something special too!

After making this pair, I want to make ALL the shirts for siblings! They were just too much fun.
If you enjoyed this project as much as I did, I’m sure you can think of other designs to add to your collection of big brother little brother shirts as well. 🙂
Y’all enjoy and happy Cricuting!

FAQs
Here are a couple of questions I commonly see readers ask about this project. If you have a question but don’t see it down below, please leave it in the comments so I can answer it for you.
Would this project work for older kids?
Although it’s designed for a toddler and a baby, you could definitely make this project for slightly older kids. If you have two boys who are close to each other, these shirts would look adorable on a toddler and his older brother!
Could I use different colored shirts for this project?
Absolutely! I love the way that the design looks on gray, but you could easily use white, blue, green, orange, or another color of your choice. I would recommend avoiding black or red since part of the design will blend in. 🙂
